Directory Submission Gets You Tons Of Quality - 1 Way Links

As the search engines are evolving each and every day, it's getting harder and harder to get top search engine rankings.

The search engines now, highly favor, websites that have a large number of quality, one way links pointing to them. Because of this, it's absolutely critical that we consistently try to get other websites to link to us, WITHOUT us linking back to them.

Yes, reciprocal linking is becoming less and less valuable. Submitting your website to website directories is an excellent way to get, quality, 1 way links pointing to your websites. You see, many of the website directories online have a high amount of page rank and have been online for several years.

These are 2 of the most important criteria for determining what a good link is, vs what a bad link is. These two criteria are:

  1. The age of the website linking to you
  2. The Page Rank of the website linking to you

With that said, many of these directories have both a high Page Rank AND are old websites, giving them more authority and power in the search engines.

Not only that, but there are literally thousands of website directories on the internet that are absolutely free for you to submit your website to! While it does take time to find these directories and then manually fill out all of the required criteria to submit your website, it is an excellent way to help increase your search engine rankings.

Small Town business entrepreneur wins coveted American Royal Award

LB’s BBQ Sauce, created by small town and internet business entrepreneur Lonnie Basinger, has won the 2008 Invitational American Royal Barbeque Competition Best Sauce on the Planet Award. The announcement was made during the American Royal Awards Show in Kansas City, Mo October 4, 2008.

The American Royal Annual International Invitational BBQ Competition is known as the largest Barbecue Contest in the world. This was his first time to enter a sauce into the American Royal competition.

Mr. Basinger hails from Collinsville, a small Texas town of 1,235 people in Grayson County North of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in Texas, USA. While his name brand sauce has won many amateur and professional contests in the past, he reports that the American Royal title win was a complete stunner for him.
I was unable to attend the awards ceremony for work related reasons, but was not expecting to win either. Guess I should have trusted in the sauce, he laughed. What an honor.
He found out about the win by reading about it on the American Royal website.

Mr. Basinger started submitting his award winning sauces to competitions in 1990. Over the years he estimates he has won about 15 top awards from local, regional and national competitions. Besides the original LB’s BBQ sauce, he also has three spicy versions of the sauce as well as two salsas. He has commercial distribution for his products in place but has yet to find a co-packer that can mass produce the sauces and still maintain its award-winning quality.

Mr. Basinger is also a founder and President of Xtream Global Marketing, a company that provides online marketing and internet advertising services. He entered into the internet marketing arena in 1992, primarily seeking a way to market his unique BBQ sauce products online. In that quest he met people with whom he developed a company to provide online advertising solutions.

More and more people are going to the internet to buy and sell. They all need advertising resources and how to get their products out on the internet.” he says “That is where Xtream comes in. We help people market online.
